Disorganised Zine
The moment 2020 began

This is a collection of film and digital photography taken leading up to the global pandemic

 September 2020

COVID-19 has altered all of our lives and changed the world, with hundreds of thousands of people tragically passing away from this cruel virus.

I wanted to reflect on when life felt normal. What it was like towards the end of 2019 and the events that lead up to the global pandemic.

Mostly for nostalgia but also to see the stark difference the pandemic has had.

2019 was a busy year for me with Pride marches and large Brexit protests. Events that would be impossible now and for the foreseeable future.

As Christmas draws ever closer in 2020, I wonder how it will compare to last year and how it will affect London.

Especially now with a second wave, there will certainly be no Winter Wonderland this year.

Will we spend Christmas in Lockdown?

And of course New Year,
which was when we first started hearing the first reports from China.

The Chinese New Year in Londons Soho was the last large event i attended, shortly before lockdown began.

What was life like before the mask?
