In the backseat of a rental car, surrounded by five cameras and bags of photographic film, I pointed out the sights I wished to see.

 

Stepping out, I sucked in the frozen air, silently taking these photos, beforehastily retreating back into the warmth of the car.

 

Winter can be awe inspiring and terribly bitter. I wanted to see and show both.

 

Through infrared film the sky became dark and images dramatic, with standard black and white film I was able to create minimalistic peaceful images.
